Huck Nets UK and Brandenburg Direct have announced that they have formed a strategic partnership.

Their announcement says that together, by combining their products, skills, knowledge and industry expertise they aim to become the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of bird proofing and pest control solutions.

Based in Bridport, Dorset, Huck Nets is responsible for the manufacture, marketing and selling of Huck Nets in the UK and Ireland. The company claims to have pioneered the manufacture of high quality polypropylene knotless netting which is suitable for all applications whether it be sport, leisure, safety, industrial or pest control.

The other half of this strategic alliance is West Midlands-based Brandenburg Direct, part of the Brandenburg group of companies which specialises in the manufacturer of flying and biting insect control systems and air sterilisation products.

Commenting on the announcement, Richard Connolly, managing director of Huck Nets said:”Whilst the core business for Huck Nets is the manufacturing and supply of quality net products, we have recognised for some time that our customers of bird netting are looking for a supplier who can manage their total bird proofing and pest control requirement. The partnership with Brandenburg Direct will bring added value and convenience to our existing customers and enable us to jointly grow our businesses substantially.”

Richard Coates, managing director of Brandenburg Direct added: “This strategic partnership brings huge opportunities for all concerned. With Huck Nets undoubted product quality and technical expertise, and our industry knowledge and long standing relationships, the market can expect some outstanding benefits.”
