A pensioner living in London whilst sunbathing in his garden awoke to find a fox gnawing at his hand.

A recent article which appeared in the Daily Telegraph records the details of a readers letter spotted in Country Life magazine.

Reader, Carey Tesler detailed how her 83-year-old father-in-law, asleep in a chair in the back garden, was woken by a ‘searing paid’ to see a ‘mangy-looking fox eating his hand’.

In the report, it records how the grand-father’s neighbour had also been pestered by the fox and had telephoned his local council and asked them to come and get rid of the animal.
