As of 1 December, the new name and branding for what was Connaught Compliance, begins to roll-out. The new organisation is to be called Santia.

Although currently part of the Connaught Group, which is in administration, the Connaught Compliance business (which includes their pest control activities) has continued to perform strongly and has remained out of administration.

This rebranding signifies the beginning of a new era for the long-established business, which employs 1,300 people, mainly professional and technical staff, at 24 locations across the UK and delivers services to many of Britain’s largest and best known corporate names.

In their official press statement, chief executive, Ian Carlisle, said: “This name change is an important step for our business as we have emerged from a difficult period but this investment sends a clear message. The outlook for Santia remains positive. We are in a strong position, fully supported by our lenders, and determined to continue providing our customers with outstanding service now and in the future.

“The Santia brand will be shared by all the Health and Safety core business units within Connaught Compliance, to reflect the fact that within a single business our customers can select from a broad menu of services to enjoy bespoke health and safety solutions that benefit from our depth of experience and are tailored as appropriate to be right for them.

The business delivers a wide range of risk management and compliance services including consultancy, training, auditing, reporting, inspection, testing and maintenance. Its highly-qualified teams include scientists, former Health & Safety Executive inspectors and local authority environmental health officers, trainers and other specialists.
