Phil Fountain has recently joined Southend-based SX Environmental as an additional Area Sale Manger to cover London and the East of England.

Phil has a long and successful career in the pest control industry. Originally starting with National Britannia Pest Control, he rose through the ranks from technician to trainee manager. He has also worked in a variety of areas, ranging from small retail organisations to large manufacturing companies, as well as working on the London Underground carrying out bird work and rodent control.

When National Britannia was taken over by Termimix he joined Three Rivers District Council as Technical Officer before moving to Hunt, the Belgium-based pest control company, where he worked all over Europe.

Other companies who have benefited from Phil’s expertise include, Eagle, Igrox and Ecolab.

Phil’s qualifications include the BPCA Diploma One and Two, Fumigation, Certificated Field Biologist, Urban Bird Management and Pest Control in Grain Stores.

He is married to Deb and has five children and three grand children. In his spare time Phil enjoys photography and playing golf (badly – says Phil!).

He is based at his home in Watford and is looking forward to meeting SX Environmental customers.

He is contactable on Tel: 07702 714 692
