Terminix UK has appointed James Gilding as its new managing director; he will take up his position on March 1.
Mr Gilding joins Terminix UK from Mitie Cleaning & Environmental Services, where he was managing director. Previously, he was managing director of Mitie Business Services.
He has a 27-year background in business management, having worked in a varied range of industries throughout the UK and Europe.
Mr Gilding takes over at Terminix UK from current managing director David Wareing, who will retire.
Pest understands that Mr Gilding will work closely with Mr Wareing over the coming months.
