Bayer is hosting a 360° virtual stand at PestExtra, which is running from March 16-18, which will enable visitors the chance to interact with new products including the company’s Digital Pest Management system.

Tim Peeling, product manager at Bayer Environmental Science, said the company is excited to showcase its new Digital Pest Management system at PestExtra and what it can offer the pest control sector.

He added that there will be an opportunity to enter a fun, short quiz to win an iPad mini when visiting the virtual stand – locate and click on the white rat to participate.

Mr Peeling said: “A lot has changed in 12 months, but it’s great that events are back on the calendar again and we can share our latest developments with pest controllers, albeit very different circumstances.

“Our Digital Pest Management system offers 24/7 monitoring of all traps, real-time capture alerts and is capable of digital reporting, helping to improve the traceability and transparency of rodent control. This system is a time saver for pest managers and can really help improve the efficiency of pest control.”

At PestExtra, Gary Nicholas, Digital Pest Management product manager at Bayer, will explain the full extent of how this solution can support pest and facility managers in his seminar in the Innovation Theatre, which is at 10am on Tuesday, March 16.

Bayer is passionate about raising the profile of mental wellbeing within the pest control sector and has partnered with CALM, a charity that offers mental health support.

Mr Peeling said: “PestExtra is the perfect platform to help promote mental health in the sector, so a representative from CALM will be speaking at the event and will explain what CALM is, what they do and the importance of charities such as themselves.”
