Terminix UK has appointed Access People, a division of The Access Group, to provide a range of “transformative human capital management solutions”.

The pest control company has selected PeopleHR cloud-based software for small to medium-sized businesses. It has also subscribed to the Access Applause employee appreciation app, Access Learning Solutions and to Access Payroll Services.

James Gilding, managing director of Terminix UK, said: “To meet our brand and growth objectives, we aim to be the top pest control firm for employee engagement, training and retention.

“A well-trained, happy workforce is central to our customer service, revenue and profit and we’re delighted to partner with The Access Group for the strength, breadth and depth of its HR technologies and wider business solutions.”

PeopleHR provides Terminix with HR software essentials such as the centralisation of people information, the automation of routine tasks and self-service access for employees to personal information.

It also provides strategic functions supporting formalised skill mapping, staff training plans and calendars, talent and recruitment management, on-boarding and reviews. Analytics and reporting are also key elements, guiding smart management decisions to optimise workforce experience and performance.
