Killgerm has announced that Laurence Barnard, one of its area sales managers, has passed his RSPH Level 3 award in pest management.
In doing so, he is among the UK’s first supplier representatives in the industry to obtain this qualification.
Mark Butler, company biologist at Killgerm said: “We are all delighted for Laurence and his achievement. The Level 3 Award in Pest Management is the Gold Standard industry qualification and allows the more able professional, like Laurence, to demonstrate their knowledge and abilities. It signifies Killgerm’s firm commitment to increasing professionalism in the industry.”
Mr Barnard, who covers the East Midlands, East Anglia and South Yorkshire, said he is thrilled with his achievement.
He said: “I am happy I have achieved the qualification. It was a lot more work and at a higher level than I was expecting, but with the great tutoring from technical colleagues and some hard graft I was able to get through it.”
