Syngenta Pest app now keeps full treatment records

New features of the Syngenta Pest app, demonstrated at PestTech 2021, now enable operators to record full details of their treatment visits – including integrated pest management actions and recommendations, any baits used and pictures to track progress.

While the app includes full information, best use advice and legal details of all Syngenta products, the recording system enables any manufacturers’ products to be included.

Daniel Lightfoot, UK business manager at Syngenta Professional Solutions, said the aim is to make the free app a fully compliant and practical recording tool for all businesses.

He said: “Following completion of a visit, the records can be instantly emailed to the customer, as well as to the office for traceability and diligence, along with accurate billing of time and product use. Records can be instantly reviewed through the app on subsequent visits, to track progress and success.”

Mr Lightfoot said a recent survey revealed half of pest controllers don’t yet use a digital recording and reporting tool.

He added: “The Syngenta Pest app provides a simple, fast and instantly accessible system on the move, and is available to all registered users free from the App Store or Google Play.”
