Pest controllers had the opportunity to win unforgettable prizes this autumn, as Metex Online ran a special giveaway, together with pest product retailers.

The prizes included a sunrise hot air balloon ride, a supercar track day, and two Nordisk TX11 rat blockers with an installation pole.

Customers entered the giveaway simply by making any purchase from a participating stockiest, including 1env, Lodi UK, RatPak, Edialux and Pest Control Direct, and entering the purchase date and stockist on Metex’s website.

Metex director Daniel Bamford said: “We are really pleased with the success of the competition and are also pleased to give something back to stockists of our Ratwall and Nordisk rat blockers – and most importantly to their loyal customers.”

The winners were drawn in November and announced at Pest Tech 2022. The sunrise hot air balloon ride went to Glenn Zealand from ZF Pest Management Services; the supercar track day to Lee Hull from Hulls Environmental Services; and the Nordisk rat blockers will be put to good use by Matt Phillips from Urban Pest Control. He attended PestTech, so Metex was able to present his prize in person.
