The manager of a Yorkshire Chinese takeaway said he was “very sorry” to his customers after a video of rats and raw chicken emerged.
The footage, which is understood to have been filmed by a neighbour and since shared on Facebook, shows rats running around containers of raw chicken in the outdoor area of the Hull takeaway.
Hull Live reported that in one clip it appeared to show a rat inside a plastic basket that had been left on the floor in the garden.
In another clip, sitting next to the same plastic basket, is a large silver bowl that contains raw chicken that has been left uncovered.
The video of the garden of the Jin Ocean takeaway in Hull has since been shared hundreds of times and has been met with shock by social media users.
