New funds secured by Exosect will be used to expand business opportunities in Europe, India and the Far East.

Despite the credit crunch, Exosect, who describe themselves as leading providers of Intelligent Pest Management solutions, has successfully attracted further funding from its investors. Leading European venture capitalists Oxford Capital Partners, WHEB Ventures and the Entrepreneurs Fund are continuing to support the business bringing the total invested over the past two years to more than £5 million.

Exosect says that following seven years of intensive research and trial programmes in over 25 countries it is now entering a phase of high commercial growth.

The new funds will be used to develop and expand agricultural and professional pest control business opportunities in Europe, India and the Far East.

Martin Brown, managing director commented, “This further investment demonstrates the ongoing commitment of our shareholders and reflects the recognition by the investment community of the market potential of our new environmentally-conscious and sustainable approaches to pest control.”

Exosect’s chairman Ian McManus added, “It is good news that we continue to receive funding and support from our investors, particularly in the current financial climate.”
