Mark Wenman has joined NPTA as technical manager for the North

The National Pest Technicians Association has announced the appointment of Mark Wenman as technical manager for the North, continuing the association’s commitment to providing strong regional support and technical excellence to members across the UK.

Mr Wenman brings a wealth of experience from his extensive career in the pest control industry, having held a range of technical and operational roles. Known for his practical expertise and industry insight, he is well-positioned to support members in the North with training, auditing, and technical guidance.

His appointment comes at a time of transition for the NPTA, with current technical manager, Grahame Turner, set to leave the organisation after years of dedicated service.

Kevin Lawrenson, NPTA chief executives, said the association would like to extend its sincere thanks to Grahame for his outstanding contribution and wish him all the best for the future.

As part of the evolving technical team, Mr Wenman will work closely with NPTA’s soon-to-be-announced technical manager for the South, ensuring seamless national coverage and continued support for all accredited members.

Mr Lawrenson said: “We’re delighted to welcome Mark to the NPTA team. His strong technical background and industry experience will be a real asset to our members.

“As we say goodbye to Grahame and look ahead to the next chapter, we remain committed to delivering the highest level of support, guidance, and training across the UK.”

Mr Wenman will be actively involved in member visits, auditing, training days, and upcoming ‘On the Road’ events, and said he looks forward to meeting and supporting members in the months ahead.
