    Wanted – technical manager – Presly Pest Control

    Presly Pest Control, the largest independent pest control company in the north of Scotland, is searching for a technical manager.
    Based in Aberdeenshire, Presly Pest Control services a wide range of customers located in Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen City and Moray. The company has an extensive client list, including all commercial and domestic sectors, however our core business is to provide a tailored pest prevention service to the food processing and agricultural sectors.

    The requirements for the technical manager are:

    • Good communication skills – written and verbal;
    • Good IT skills;
    • BPCA/RSPH Level 2;
    • A full driving licence;
    • Excellent technical knowledge and experience of working in food processing and agricultural sites.

    The main duties for the technical manager will include:

    • Carrying out biologist inspections at food processing sites and other key accounts and preparing reports for clients;
    • Liaising with clients to ensure recommendations are carried out and that the company is meeting its obligations to clients;
    • Managing all food processing sites and other key accounts ensuring that our service meets all audit and customer requirements, maintaining paperwork in site report files;
    • Taking responsibility for staff training, carrying out initial training with new personnel and maintaining on-going training for existing staff and organising CPD requirements;
    • Taking responsibility for maintaining and improving standard of service across the client base, accompanying technicians on inspections and carrying out QA inspections on customer sites and working with technicians to help them improve their quality of service;
    • Helping to maintain the state of service as needed.

    In return the following is on offfer:

    • A starting salary of £30,000 to £35,000 dependant on experience and level of responsibility;
    • A company pension;
    • Commission on new work generated;
    • A company vehicle, laptop, smart phone and all other equipment needed to carry out the role successfully.
